Hmm. I’m still getting a lot of comments back on the search engine thing, so let me clear it up a little more…
Yes; if you get a top ranking on a top keyword you will get top traffic. Duh! Its always been that way, it always *will* be that way.
I get top rankings because I don’t target top level keywords, never have.
You see, I’m not looking for people want to search for an “internet business”, I’m looking for people who want to engage in “internet business training”. I don’t care too much for the billions of people who are looking for some kind of “home business”, I’m looking for people who want “home business training”.
Why? Because that’s what I do. So instead of getting 5,000 people a month to my site from a particular search term, I only get 500. But the thing is, almost every one of them are looking for what I’m offering; there for I have great stick rates and incredible conversion rates.
Would I prefer the 5,000? Yes, because no matter what it’s going to give me more customers in the long run. But the effort that’s required (and sometimes cost) to get that top ranking on a bland keyword in my industry is just silly (up to $22 PER CLICK in Adsense on some keywords).
But like I said to the lady from my first email on search engine stuff- go to http://www.maximumsuccessuniversity.com and register as a member, you’ll get more search engine training than you can poke a stick at –
Certainly more than enough to make sure you get the results you want.

If you’ve invested any research time online during these past 12 months, at some point you’ll have come across the term ‘backlink’. If you haven’t, it simply refers to a link to your website on another website that links ‘back’ to your website.
