About This Website
This website exists to share Bible teaching that has first come from my own personal study of the Word of God. The videos, audio messages, and written studies you will find here are not produced through a college, nor as polished Christian content for the sake of content itself. They come from time spent in the Scriptures, working through the Word carefully, prayerfully, and personally. Many of these studies were originally prepared to help the men of my local church plant deeper roots in Christ, grow in the Word, and be strengthened in their walk with the Lord. My hope is simple: that what has helped me, corrected me, humbled me, and encouraged me may also help others.
A Little About Me
My name is Paul. I am a husband, a father, a forgiven son of the living God, and a man whose life has been changed by the grace and mercy of Christ. However, it wasn’t always that way. I came to the Lord as a young man, but for many years I didn’t truly understand the freedom found in the Gospel. Though I had heard Christian language and knew something of the faith, it was more than twenty years later before I really heard the Gospel in a way that opened my eyes to the immeasurable grace of God in Christ. My past was marked by damage and destruction. I don’t write that to glorify my sin, nor to dwell on what has been forgiven, but to say this plainly: I know what it is to need mercy. I know what it is like to be broken. I know what it is to look back and see the consequences of sin; lust, pride, selfishness, and rebellion. But now Christ. That is the only reason there is anything here worth saying. My life is not a testimony to my strength, wisdom, or goodness. It is a testimony to His grace. I often say to the men at our church that whatever they may have said, done, wanted to say, or wanted to do, I have likely been there before them in one form or another. Yet the story does not end there. In Christ there is forgiveness. In Christ there is freedom. In Christ there is a mercy far greater than our sin. I am simply a man changed by God, and a servant humbled by His Word.

Why I Teach
I teach because God has been gracious to me. The love of Christ has been poured out upon me in a way I did not deserve, and I want to share that same love/truth with others. Teaching the Bible is not about showing how much I know. It is about opening the Word of God and asking, honestly and humbly, “What has the Lord said?”. For me, Scripture reveals Christ! I have found that the Christian life is not meant to be shallow. We are not called merely to attend church, use religious words, or appear spiritual on the outside. We are called to abide in Christ. We are called to be doers of the Word and not hearers only. We are called to test all things by Scripture, hold fast to what is true, and walk faithfully before the Lord. That is why verse-by-verse Bible teaching matters to me. It slows us down. It makes us deal with the text in front of us. It stops us from skipping over the hard parts. It helps us see the flow of Scripture, the heart of God, the centrality of Christ, and the call to obedience that belongs to all who follow Him.
What You Will Find Here
On this website, you will find Bible studies through books and passages of Scripture, including teaching series from James, the Sermon on the Mount, Colossians, Luke, and other portions of the Word of God as I get to them. The aim is not to entertain, impress, or produce shallow encouragement. My prayer is that these studies will help you open your Bible, read carefully, think deeply, pray honestly, and respond faithfully. Some messages will encourage. Some will confront. Some will bring comfort. Some may search the heart. That is what the Word of God does. It does not merely inform us; it reveals, corrects, restores, strengthens, and leads us back to Christ. Though much of this teaching has been prepared with men in mind, especially through men’s ministry, it is not only for men. The Word of God is for all who desire to know the Lord, walk in truth, and grow in faith.
What I Believe
I believe the Bible, Holy Scripture, is the inspired Word of God. I believe that Christ is the promised Messiah - Lord and Saviour, as it is written in the Scriptures. I believe that every believer is called to abide in Him and walk faithfully according to His Word. I believe we must test all things by Scripture, not by feelings, cultural trends, traditions, personalities, or popular opinion. The Word of God must be the measure. Christ must be the centre. The Gospel must remain clear. And the life of the believer should increasingly bear the fruit of repentance, obedience, humility, love, and faith.
My Prayer for You
My prayer is that this website would encourage you to open your Bible and study. Do not simply take my word for it. Read the Scriptures. Search them. Test what is taught. Ask the Lord for wisdom. Come to the Word with humility and a willingness to be corrected. Let Christ be seen as Lord, Saviour, Redeemer, Shepherd, and King. If these studies help you grow deeper roots in Christ, then praise God. If they encourage you to return to the Word, then praise God. If they remind you that His mercy is greater than your past, then praise God. Open your Bible. Seek the Lord. Follow Christ. He is worthy. Amen!
